Audrey Kathleen Simmonds (1935-2012)

Audrey Kathleen Simmonds, the daughter of Pelham Robert Simmonds and Phyllis Rose Herbert, was born on 19th July 1935 in Areley Kings, Worcestershire. On leaving school she worked in a solicitor's office and later at a furniture removal company.

She married John Walley in 1955 at The Lickhill Road Hall chapel, Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire.

John was born in Crewe, Cheshire on 18th August 1930 and on leaving school he trained for a while as a shoe repairer then worked for Corona soft drinks. His main career was as a sales representative for a stationery company.

Audrey Walley died on the 23rd December 2012 and John Walley died on the 21st January 2013. They are buried in Danescourt Cemetery, Wolverhampton.
